Thanks for those tips! They're definitely useful for others trying to make tests faster.

We already do (1) and (2), and (3) wouldn't work (as we have a couple of integration tests that depend on unique key constraints). We also use a local MySQL instance.

I appreciate that this method might not be one you'd choose, but please understand that we have investigated test running pretty thoroughly over the last decade.
